FA Vase action next week

A disappointing result again on Saturday, the visitors going one up ten minutes before the half time whistle through a dubious goal, the referee allowing the ball to be knocked out of the keeper's hands, but that is the way the luck has been going this season for the Pedlars. Two more in the second half as Swaffham pushed to gain the initiative left the score-line telling a different story from the game witnessed. Next weekend the Pedlars make the short trip to Thetford Town in the FA Vase, a welcome break from the intense League programme.
Similar fortune for the Reserves with a five one defeat away to Dussindale and Hellesdon Rovers Reserves, Rob Osborne with the consolation goal for the Pedlars. They welcome Norton Athletic to the 'Uncle Luke's Stadium' next weekend.
A great result for the 'A' Team in the County Primary Cup, beating Woottons Reserves three nil to progress to the next round. Harry Exley with a brace and Blake Davies from the penalty spot ensuring their attempt to make the final as last season. Next week they travel to Hinks Meadow, home to Taverham, back in League action.
A healthy battle mid-week for the Under 18's a two all draw against Lakenheath, Harry Curson-Pope with both goals for the Young Pedlars. No game this week for them.
The Senior Pedlars opened their account in the Norfolk County Veterans League with an impressive eight one victory over KLSC. Jamie Butters with a hat-trick, Nathan Clarke, Chris Gaskin, James Howe and Dan Miller with single goals, the balance made up by an own goal. A great start to their season, topping their Division.
