Leiston at home next Saturday

A mixed week for the Pedlars, away Wednesday night to Dussindale and Hellesdon Rovers, a respectable first half, coming off the pitch two one down at half-time. James Suckling on the result sheet seven minutes from the period whistle, front of goal twenty four yards out, firing left footed into the bottom left hand corner of the net. The second half started disasterously, leeching a goal in the opening minute and always then on the back foot trying to turn things around. It was never to be and the final result was five one.
Different matters on Saturday, a goalless draw but a well deserved point and spirit and confidence boosted with a performance that those spectating deserve. Our thanks to the George Hotel for their continued support, providing post match hospitality which is the talk and envy of the League. Next weekend the Pedlars host Leiston Under 23's in League action and on the follwing Tuesday, Dussindale and Hellesdon Rovers come to the 'Uncle Luke's Stadium for their third meeting of the season in the Norfolk County Senior Cup.
The Reserves are still to notch up their first points of the season. They were away to Waveney Reserves, but despite a goal from Harry Curson-Pope they were still defeated two goals to one. They are on the road again next weekend with a journey to Beccles Town Reserves.
The Under 18,s gave Thetford Town a nine nil thumping mid week in League action. Finley Brooke with a hat-trick, Oliver Cazot with a brace, Jake Turner, Harry Curson-Pope, Ryan Lake and Harry Anderson each with single contributions.
The 'A' Team with a convincing eight nil victory away to Scarning in the Ben Smith Memorial Cup, cup action again next weekend with a trip to KLSC 'A' in the County Primary Cup.
